In 1978 Robert Cohrs bought Ormond Ace hardware. From 1980 to 1996, Jeff Gross joined his uncle Robert, to manage and operate the business. In 1996, Jeff sold back his shares of the business to his uncle to join the corporate world of Ace Hardware. Robert Cohrs sold the business to The Pasquines in the late 90's.
Jeff worked as a District Manager in FL and then as a Project Manager for the entire state of FL until 2010 when he bought back Ormond Ace Hardware from The Pasquines. Jeff is expanding in all directions and has made several changes to the store to reflect the needs of the Ormond Beach community. Some of the changes include solutions to everyday home improvements, as well as an extensive array of high quality products such as paint, lawn and garden.
The 10,400 square foot store is packed with thousands of essential products and supplies, including some of the most respected brand names and best-selling items to help our customers take care of their home. Key products include paint, lawn and garden, hardware, electrical plumbing, automotive and home decor, as well as niche products such as garden seeds, fertilizers and fasteners of all kinds.
